Hidden treasures.

What do you do with all those delicate, one off, old china pieces you've inherited? I hate to dust, so in my own home I don't display things with no practical purpose. Reuse is another thing. So when I saw this solution from Martha Stewart, I jumped. Perfect! Now I know what to do with Granny's odd cups and saucers. A hidden secret. And clever storage for all those little things that tend to disappear.

  1. Vintage china is perfect for storing jewelry! + is so good looking that it hurts :) You could also use 'em as beautiful candle holders - fill half cup with water first & add one or few tea lights :) ox

  2. Thanks Urska, yes there must be lots of ways to reuse old china. Martha Stewarts idea was new to me, and I like it a lot. Especially since the 19C cups I have are very dear and very delicate, and I dare not have them out and around. But this way - maybe they'll be safe in a drawer? And I get to see them more often than I do now.
